The one that worked for me was lyu_E.updatepkg.ĪND it took a long time. For some reason, I also had two different packages. SPECIFICALLY the part about which updatepkg file to use. The answer that FINALLY worked for me was the one posted by eharmony, on July 28, 2020. Same error about running multiple instances of Watchtower Library= Try again.

Hi, I've been trying to update as well on and off for the past week, without success. I just opened it today as I've done for the last several weeks ready to try again and there it was a full and up-to-date Watchtower Library. Just to let you know that the problem is sorted. i dont know much about computers, but this is the first time I've seen them using an E drive. You have to use the lyu_E.updatepkg instead of the BUNDLE.UPDATEPKG. Go to where your update package is it is the file ending with pkgĪnd watchtower library will be up to date and load imediately

When installed go to help That is help in watchtower library and click on it choose manual update package.

Now go to where it put the iso filee (usually in downloads) doubleclick it and follow the instructions to install it.

Scroll down to where it tells you how to update and pess the download button which will give you the update pacakage. While this is going on go back to the search in jw.org and type in update watchtower library. We really need the WTL for research, etc. The program crashed and I had to start over again. Each time I open the program a box appears asking if I want to update. So I copied the WTL from another laptop and pasted to my computer, it will open very slowly but with the 2017 version. The "Mount" doesn't appear as the instructions said it should. After numerous tries I uninstalled the WTL and tried to download/install This problem started when I tried to update the Watchtower Library, but computer said couldn't because something was open in the WTL, I checked everything, couldn't find anything open.
